Tools Your Team
Will Actually Use

Not another SaaS subscription that almost fits. Custom internal tools built for your exact workflow — admin panels, operations dashboards, approval systems. Built in weeks, not months.

Build Your Tool

Spreadsheets Are Not a System

Your team is running critical operations on spreadsheets, shared docs, and a prayer. Data gets lost. Mistakes happen. Onboarding takes weeks because the "process" lives in someone's head.

Off-the-shelf tools get you 80% there — but that last 20% is where your business actually lives. Custom internal tools close that gap completely, and with AI-accelerated development, they cost a fraction of what you'd expect.

Internal Tools That Fit Like a Glove

Admin Panels

Manage users, content, configurations, and permissions. A branded control center your ops team can navigate without a manual.

Operations Dashboards

Real-time visibility into what matters. KPIs, pipeline status, team performance — all in one screen, updated live.

Approval Workflows

Route requests, manage approvals, track status. Replace email chains and Slack threads with a proper system.

Data Management

CRUD interfaces that don't suck. Search, filter, bulk edit, import/export. Your data, organized and accessible.

Role-Based Access

Different views for different roles. Admins see everything, managers see their team, operators see their queue. Fine-grained permissions built in.

Integrations & Sync

Connected to your existing stack — CRM, ERP, email, Slack, databases. One source of truth, not five.

From Chaos to Control

Shadow the workflow

We learn how your team actually works — not how the org chart says they should. The real process is the one we build for.

Build the tool

Iterative delivery. You see working software within days, give feedback, and we adjust. No surprises at the end.

Roll out & train

Deployed, documented, and your team trained. We build tools that are intuitive enough that the docs are a formality.

Frequently Asked Questions

What internal tools has Iron Mind built before?

We have built operations dashboards with real-time data from PostgreSQL and external APIs; multi-role admin panels for SaaS products including user management, billing overrides, and content moderation queues; approval workflow systems for procurement and HR; data import and enrichment tools; and AI-assisted back-office interfaces where LLMs help operators process documents, classify records, or draft responses. All built to your exact workflow, not a generic template.

Do you build on top of Retool or Tooljet, or fully custom?

Both options are evaluated per project. Retool and Tooljet are appropriate for simple CRUD interfaces where speed-to-delivery matters more than long-term ownership cost. Fully custom tools — built with Flask/Jinja2, Next.js, or FastAPI — are chosen when you need complete control, no per-seat pricing, complex custom logic, or deep integration with proprietary systems that no-code platforms cannot support cleanly. We recommend honestly based on what actually serves you better.

How long does a custom admin panel or internal tool take?

A focused internal tool — one primary workflow, one data source, role-based access — ships in 1 to 2 weeks. More complex tools with multiple workflows, approval chains, reporting, and API integrations run 3 to 5 weeks. Timeline is fixed upfront. We deliver working software at the end of each week so you can validate direction and provide feedback before the next milestone rather than seeing the result only at the end.

What does an internal tool project cost?

Internal tools and admin panels start at $8k for focused, well-scoped builds. Mid-complexity tools with multiple user roles, approval workflows, external integrations, and reporting run $15k–$35k. Enterprise back-office systems with complex business logic, compliance requirements, or AI-assisted features start at $35k. All pricing is fixed-scope, fixed-price — quoted after a scoping session, not estimated hourly.

Can internal tools connect to our existing database and auth system?

Yes — direct database connection is standard. We connect to PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, SQLite, MongoDB, and Snowflake. For authentication, we integrate with your existing SSO provider (Google Workspace, Azure AD, Okta) via SAML or OAuth 2.0, or implement standalone session-based auth if you don't have an SSO provider. We never require you to migrate your data or change your auth model — we integrate with what you have.
